About this project
Our fairy project is called Absynth and Amethyst.
Absynth and Amethyst is a story of good and evil fairies, where a young woman named Amethyst struggles to find acceptance and love while going through emotional and physical changes. What is different about Amethyst is that her changes include her discovering that she is a fairy.
Utilizing the amazing talents of Danielle Chuchran, James Gaisford and Juliette Lyde, as well as the artistic eye of Adam Abram, we've done some initial tests with the images as well as the look and feel of the graphic novel. Chris Hanson, a Hollywood makeup and effects artist, has helped craft the look and structure of the actual fairies and we are really excited with where we're at right now. But now, we need your help. Please take a moment to look over the rewards of helping this project happen.
We plan on creating a novel, graphic novel, screenplay and eventually a feature film. First up is the graphic novel. The money raised through kickstarter will be used to create the designs and images for the graphic novel and help us to propel it through the process of publication.
