So I know, I laid out a schedule that had me asking for your input for stories on Wednesdays. But honestly, I spent this weekend far too relaxed. I am itching to get started. Itching, I tell you! So, officially, SEND ME YOUR INPUT!

The stakes are high - a few of you have already submitted. Here's some (daunting) examples:
Adversary Han Shan has threatened to submit "pulchritudinous".
Foe Royal McGraw sent me a sentence. It was 82 words long.
Evil Doppleganger Jonathan Ryan wrote: "Soseki Natsume's "I Am a Cat" meets Neuromancer by way of Kundera's Immortality. With elves. Go."
Combining just those three would be a challenge. But it's not enough of a challenge for me! Bring it on, Collective!

I'm a media-creator and journalist. I've been trying to write novels since I was five years old (Hardy Boys: Case of the Pirate Treasure) but I just finished my very first one (The Collective). When I'm not excitedly hammering out first drafts or slogging through re-writes, I do online news for San Francisco-based Current TV.
Can I submit a sentence that someone, anyone, has to say? "You're lucky I have this hot dog in my purse, otherwise you'd meet a fate worse than leprosy."
That's it! It's noon! Thanks everyone. These are some DAUNTING submissions. But this is all of them (except for a few that came through email, and one from my mother who has pledged via email but is still working on getting Kickstarter to work for her).
Look out for a blog post tonight that will list everything I'll need to include. And then tomorrow morning I'll start writing. (And it's probably going to take me all weekend, looking at this!)
