After we left the original Kickstarter goal in the dust in under 30 hours (surprising everyone, especially me), We have decided to use the opportunity to expand our original vision for this project to include a mini comic book that will be available for free online. This is why we are asking you to help us reach our NEW goal of $1080.
EXTENDED PROJECT:
If we meet the new goal by the end of our Kickstarter time Leah and I will use the money to create a 15 page mini comic that will follow the life of a Peace Enforcer Agent (the privatized police force in the comic book). This mini comic book will be available through the Madman of Magic Website (www.madmanofmagic.com) for all to read.
EXTENDED REWARDS
If we meet the new goal by the end of our Kickstarter time all backers will get their name inside this mini comic book and be able to include their web address if they wish. This comic book will be read by millions over time, which will be an awesome way to show off to your friends.
We also plan to include a sticker to all backers of $10 or more at no extra cost if this goal is met.

"Madman of Magic: The Beginning of the End" is a comic book created and written by Jason Love (that's me!) and illustrated by Leah Love (my wife). It is the first in a series of comic books that will follow the life of a Magician turned freedom fighter.
Our goal is to use Kickstarter to complete this first comic book in the Madman of Magic series. The script is complete, so the money will go to completing the art, finishing the layout, and publishing costs.

The Story:
In the midst of a global recession, America toils along in misery, with the bankruptcy of the nation comes anarchy and the breakdown of civilization. With no money to keep the peace, lawmakers support the privatization of Government. Law is restored to the streets, but at a price. Corruption runs rampant with justice going to the highest bidder.
The Government takes control of all media and outlaws all non-government sponsored performance art leaving a magician without a job or purpose.
His decision to help a victim fight the injustice of the Protective Service Corporation (the privatized police force) brands him an enemy of the new political powers and forces him to become a freedom fighter.
