About this project
We have this game. It's almost completely written. I've paid for art and writing. I've contracted an editor and layout artist. We're in the home stretch.
The problem is, we need to print the thing. A book isn't very useful if it doesn't get printed, right?
This is where you come in.
Without funding, we'll be producing the game only in basic print-on-demand and digital formats. With this Kickstarter, we hope to commit to a full print run of black and white books, and a limited run of full-color books in addition to our other options.
Effectively, this program allows us to offer something similar to a pre-order mechanism. If we accomplish our goal, you'll get the book in whatever level format you've contributed for, you'll get some cool swag at different levels of aid, and we'll have a more accurate picture of how our printing will be executed.
You can find more about Maschine Zeit here: http://machineageproductions.com/ We've posted some samples, some thoughts on the process, and all manner of interesting things.
(As a caveat on the rewards below, they assume shipping within the United States. We will ship outside the US! But please be aware, we'll want you to cover the difference in shipping.)

This is the Super Special Friend of Machine Age Productions™ level contributor. You get the full $150 package, including canonization in a Maschine Zeit product, flash drive, color copy, pdf, t-shirt, all that jazz. Also, drinks are on us. By that, I mean, Machine Age Productions will take you to dinner and drinks. If you're in the Philly metro area, that's super easy to arrange. Otherwise, we'll make it happen at any one of the many conventions we attend. 2010, we have all intention of hitting up PAX Prime, Origins Game Fair, Gen Con Indy, and a handful of other conventions. Dinner won't be five star, but the place must at least have Sam Adams on tap for my consideration.
