Ever wanted to know what it would be like to visit New York in the late 19th century? What to see, what to wear, where to go, and when? The Time Traveler’s Guide to New York City is everything you expect from a travel guide, but not just for another place, but another time.
Imagine if you could travel back in time and visit NY at the end of the 19th century. How different would it be from what we know today? But if you were to make such a journey, wouldn't you simply be overwhelmed by the difference? It is in an effort to prevent such a situation that we have decided to create The Time Traveler’s Guide to New York City. And as we embark in this endeavor, we're asking for your help to bring it to fruition.
Think of it as a history book for travelers. Your contribution will ensure that it is fully documented, wonderfully presented and filled with everything you need to know to discover NYC in the 19th c. Besides period maps, photographs, and drawing, the Guide will present a wealth of information about the city, its boroughs and its customs, in a clear and easy to read manner.
