Lyncredible is a hilarious tale of two friends and their attempt to overcome the dark pleasures of life, lust, betrayal, and distrust.
Lyndrick and Marcus are two loveable losers without much relationship success. One day, Lyndrick, the would be Casanova of the two, gets a date with a very naughty girl. Not having a car, however, meant that he would have to ride with Marcus.
Unfortunately for them, Lyndrick's date vanishes, and Marcus' car breaks down. The rest of their evening is spent in a tragic, but humorous, attempt to make it back home without acquiring broken hearts or eating knuckle sandwiches.
Years later, the two reconnect in Lyndrick's new town. Lyndrick, still very much mired in the past, attempts to recreate a better version of that night with Marcus.
April, Lyndrick's ex girlfriend, has other intentions. She sees the present (Marcus) as an opportunity to fill the void within her both literally and figuratively.
Roger, their annoyingly tactless and somewhat perverted neighbor, just wants to watch the local community college swim practice.
Thank you for giving this project your consideration. After years of developing, writing, and casting this film, only one thing prevents us from turning our dream into Short film reality.
The Lyncredible project began as a real life misadventure that served as a pivotal point in the lives of two men. It changed us; for the better and for the worst.
This project is both a tribute to that event and an inspiring story of overcoming adversity through humor.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
The money raised from this kickstarter project will be used to create set pieces, costumes, and cover many of the other expenses the movie will require.
.In the right hand column we have listed a variety of Leveled Donor benefits. Whenever you donate you will be given the option of choosing one of these rewards.
When will you shoot this, and when should we expect to see a finished product?
We're looking to start principal photography in August of 2012. After that the film will be cut, scored, and spliced with additional footage, if needed.
Lyncredible will be completed by Late 2012.
How does this "Kickstarter" thing work?
Kickstarter provides artists, film makers, and others an outlet for creating their visions. Artists provide a cover story explaining their project and offering rewards for participation.
If the project is completely funded the Artist will receive the funds.
If the project does not reach the amount of money needed, it is scrapped completely. No money is given.
Kickstarter is an all or nothing venture that can only succeed with your help.
When you place a Kickstarter pledge, you are not paying up front. You will only be charged when the timer expires, and IF the project meets the goal.
Will clicking "Like" fund your project?
No. Clicking "Like" does not fund our project, but it does bring attention to it via social interaction.
Aside from "backing" your project, how can I help?
