Liquid Rush Clothing is one of those companies.

Liquid Rush Clothing (LRC) is a Hawaii surfwear brand designed especially for those of us who love surfing and living local style.

When Glen Santamaria and Jonnie Austen created LRC they decided to make it their brand's mission to malama (support) the hawaiian sport of surfing by setting aside a portion of their company profits to help Hawaii's young surfers develop their professional surfing careers.

Hawaii has a lot of talented young surfers. Most of them start surfing at an early age competing in local grom and junior surf contests and wondering what it would be like to compete on the world tour while pursuing their dreams of becoming the next Andy Irons or Carissa Moore.

But not all of these talented young surfers are able to follow their dreams because it takes a lot of money to compete on the pro surfing tour. So Glen and Jonnie decided to dedicate a portion of LRC's profits to create a special fund to help Hawaii's young surfers compete internationally on the pro junior circuit and the wqs by sponsoring these up and coming young hawaiian surfers and providing them with funds that will help cover the costs of their competing around the world.

LRC's kickstarter project offers its contributors rewards from its 2012 capsule collection. The rewards include tee shirts, truckers, a poster and stickers. LRC has also created a special rewards package for contributors of $100 or more that includes our limited edition poster tee shirt, our "Team Rider" rashguard, another LRC tee shirt of your choice, both of our trucker hats,all three of our stickers and our LRC poster.

We'll use the funds that we receive from our contributors to pay for 1) the capsule collection designs, 2) the tee shirt, rashguard and trucker blanks, 3) printing the tee shirts, rashguards, truckers, posters and stickers and 4) shipping the rewards to you, our contributors, as a way of saying "thank you" for your generous contributions.
