The last update was in JANUARY??? 

Sheesh, that's...it's been awhile.  I've been stuck, unstuck, working, lots of work, been on two television shows, two movies, a slew of commercials, I saw a real live duck.  

Maybe you had to be there.

In between all that I've been listening to the couples, taking notes, writing descriptions, scrapping the descriptions.  I've worked it all out in my head while jogging, then taken it apart, then done it all over again.  

I've had a backer actually brace me, demanding the book be done by February.  Showed me his book, I think as a way of demonstrating how easy making a book is?

All of that is basically prologue to: Sorry it's taken me so long.  I did not in any way anticipate the level of difficulty I encountered. 

I'm writing now because I'm going to be done with the book by the end of next week, if not sooner.  At that point everything gets sent out.  The postcards, the Polaroids, the zine (next time you see me, remind me to tell you how my spatial understanding is so poor I had to have my best friend help me make a zine. Twice.), the book.  It'll all go out at once, but separately, as the book will be coming straight from Blurb.  

Many of you have moved.  Those of you that sent updated emails, I've got 'em. 

Many of you have become disenchanted.  Not sure how much I can do about that, but hopefully the book will at the very least put a smile or two on your face.  

In lieu of that, feel free to use it as kindling when you burn me in effigy.
