At last!
Hello, everyone, and sorry for my silence! This has been an incredibly busy year for me, between work, classes, and making this kitchen happen. It has also been frustrating, thanks to the zoning problems discussed in the last updates.
However, I come to you today with excellent news: my zoning problems have been resolved. My work on the trailer is done except for a few odds and ends. And on Friday morning at 11 AM, the health inspector is coming to give my kitchen its final inspection before I'll be allowed to open!
That means I am likely less than a week away from opening. As soon as I can use my kitchen legally, I'll begin cranking out backer rewards, and I'll be in touch shortly to arrange local pickup for those who chose that option. Thank you all, so much, for your patience and generosity. I'm within reach of my goal after a long year, and it's all thanks to you!
I'll let everyone know on Friday what the results of the inspection are. Keep your fingers crossed that I haven't overlooked anything and all goes smoothly!
