Who is Long Tall Deb?
I am a singer, songwriter, and performer getting ready to record my second CD and I want you to be a part of the process because without you, I am nothing! I have put what money I have into this and would very much appreciate your help to complete it.
Here is a preview of one of the tunes on the CD. It is called "Married to the Blues" and features a little help in the video from my son Ian and our neighbor Sydney!
Why should I make a record with Long Tall Deb?

What can I get for my money?
Everyone, regardless of pledge level, will receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes recording DVD. This will not be available for sale to the general public.
At every level of contribution, there are some well-priced items you can have. The icing on the cake is that you get access to this music before the general public. Take a look at the column to the right for the reward structure.
Where is my money going?
The money will go to pay for musician time, studio time, producer time, mixing, mastering, CD art design and packaging. Recording and producing a quality album is a very expensive proposition when it is done right. You have my assurance that all funds will only be used toward this goal. Your faith and confidence is extremely important to me.
How do I back this project?

Then what?
Once this project is successfully funded (fingers crossed!!) I will be posting updates from the studio including video, photos and sound clips as I want you to see how important your contribution is to our project's success. I will also gear up to send out all your cool rewards on time!

No- Your card will only be charged if and when we meet our goal. If we do not, you will not be charged. The charge should appear February 11.
There will be no holds on your card- just a charge on that date if we are successful.

In a word - nothing.
Kickstarter uses an all or nothing model. So, if we don't reach the goal the project isn't funded. Nobody who pledged support will be asked to provide it. None of the fun rewards will be produced or shipped. Frankly, that scenario doesn't sound like any fun!

Since releasing her debut recording Diamonds on the Desert Floor in 2010 with the Drifter Kings, Long Tall Deb has firmly established herself as an artist on the rise. Produced by Blues Mob’s Michael Hill, the album features eleven original recordings that blend a heady mix of powerful storytelling with swampy, gutbucket soul.
The album was nominated by the Blues Foundation of Memphis, Tennessee as a top-5 finalist at the 2011 International Blues Challenge and has been receiving airplay on stations across North America, South America, and Europe as well as being honored as a “pick to click” on Sirius/ XM’s “B.B. King’s Bluesville”. It was also featured as a winner of Blues Revue Magazine’s “Sponsor the Bands Contest” in the May/ June 2011 issue.
Now in preparations to record her next CD, Long Tall Deb will continue touring and bring her dynamic live show to new audiences at festivals and venues around the world.
