Producer/Director: Teo Zagar
Teo Zagar is a filmmaker, editor, special educator and former town constable. His previous films Ten Days, Ten Years: Slovenia's War for Independence and Mind Games: A Love Story have been shown at film festivals around the country and on television. Teo currently works as a Program Assistant in the Special Education department of the Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, Vermont. His other film projects currently in development include: Iron Horse: The Legend of Lou Gehrig; The Autism Interpreter (with William Stillman); The Friedman File: WIlliam F. Friedman and the National Security Complex; and The Kennels of Levi, a documentary about a training facility for service animals founded by national deafness advocate and former FBI lip reader, Sue Thomas. Teo is also a founding board member of Thomas's Levi Foundation for the Training of Service Animals.
Producer/Director: Christopher Piana
Christopher completed college in 2001 after studying human cultures, past and present, and their relationship to the Earth. After college he met his current partner and for six months backpacked and worked on organic farms throughout South America. Upon returning to the U.S. he moved to Burlington to become an Americorps VISTA and helped start up the mentoring nonprofit, Mobius. As a VISTA member, he also helped implement a refugee community garden project in the Intervale. Upon completing his year of service, Christopher set out to work and learn about all things food. He moved to the Sirius Community in Western Massachusetts where he participated in a Horticulture Apprenticeship and completed a two-week intensive Permaculture/Ecological Design course. He then returned to Vermont to work in the produce department of a health food store and spent the next two growing seasons learning the craft of growing food at the Stony Loam Farm in Charlotte, Vermont. Last year Christopher and his brother started Fable Farm in Barnard, Vermont, where they lease land from an elder agrarian and grow organic food for a 100 member CSA, two farmers markets, and local restaurants.
Soundtrack Artist - Bow Thayer:
Bow’s recent solo album Spend it All featured Levon Helm on drums, and his latest project was recorded live at Helm’s Woodstock, NY studio with Bow’s band Perfect Trainwreck, making Radio Free Americana’s list of the Best Alt Country/Roots Rock Albums of 2008. He also recently performed with Ringo Starr as the house band for the Hard Rock Café Los Angeles benefit "Imagining a World Without Hunger" to celebrate the birthday of John Lennon. His Green Mountain-inspired musical stylings and compositions will provide the backdrop for Green Blooded.
Bow’s life philosophy: live, love, learn, and leave a good soundtrack.
