This album has been in progress for four years. With your help, I can finally share it with the rest of the world.
The featured video is a solo acoustic version of "One Thousand Days" from "January". The album version features full instrumentation and vocal harmonies performed by Lola. As of 1 November, a newer, specialized version of this song will be posted for this Kickstarter page!

For the past year, I have been writing and laying down base tracks for my most recent album, "January", the first part of what has rapidly become a two-EP recording (the whole of it being titled "January" and "June"). I could even say that this album started four years ago in a small apartment in Japan with a dying laptop, a Martin, and a lot of time left alone and thinking. These songs are all parts of myself; this music is why I work, why I practice, why I get up and start every day. They're my friends and family just as much as those that stand by me day after day. Right now, these songs are homeless. There has never been an official release of my own material where the album is properly mastered, printed, and duplicated. Because I strongly believe that the songs I am recording for this album are some of the best I have ever written, I'd like to do my songs the justice of being well presented and professionally packaged. I would also very much like to tour a handful of select locations in the United States with a couple of very talented musician friends that would help my music come to life! It can all happen with your help.
So, you're probably wondering precisely what it is that this project aims to accomplish. I'll make it super clear:
This project will allow for the recorded tracks to be mixed down by a local engineer that will put a great deal of care and effort into what I've created, and mastered professionally before release.
This project will enable creation of merchandise in support of the album, to be sold at performance dates and through my online portal, including the album itself.
This project will realize my dreams of providing the music I love so much, in a complete and professional format, to anyone and everyone that will listen.
This project, and you, will grant me the opportunity to share what I feel is the best and most important part of myself- my music- with the rest of the world.
These are the best-case fundraising scenarios. If I can even accomplish some of this, I'll be thrilled. If I can do all of this, with your help, I'll feel like I can do anything.

I'm certainly willing to be flexible if you have no wish for what's listed. I am a handy, creative gal and I'll help fashion something for you that will be equally as awesome and donation-amount-appropriate. (Note: I'm still working on finalizing the artwork for the album, poster, and shirt, and will be working on this through November. Feel free to give it a shot and ask if it's ready, though, and if it's not, I'll get back to you as soon as it is.)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to fit you for a blanket; they will all come one-size-fits-cozy. However, the shirt size will be done in survey form once funding is complete. With regard to the dress sizing (if you're a kindly benefactor that wishes to contribute the $750 for that reward), I'll measure out the dresses at the bust, waist, and hips and send those measurements with pictures by e-mail. That way, you can make an informed decision from afar. If you're local (Shenandoah Valley area), we can meet and you can even try them on yourself!

As the duplication of media will have to be done once all of the funding comes in, I have to allow for shirts, discs, vinyl, and posters to be pressed and printed before I can send them. Because funding runs out on Christmas day, it'll be like a late holiday gift. For some of the rewards, such as the handmade portraits, framed items, dresses, blankets, or awesome party, a little more prep, planning, and communication will have to happen. BUT! Fear not. You will get everything and then some, and likely even some bonus gifts that aren't listed!
