The End of Forever is a character-driven horror film with a unique visual style that will both entertain and leave a lasting impact.
UPDATE - WE MET OUR GOAL! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us! Every dollar makes the world of our film that much richer! We start shooting Friday, and we couldn't be more excited! For photos and the latest word, visit our Facebook page!
In addition, we're excited to announce that now every pledge will come with an assortment of fantastical coins from the bottom of the well! That's right: free treasure for all!
The End of Forever will be a horror film driven by multidimensional characters and shot with a unique visual style created byexpressionistic lighting, split screen, crazy makeup and special effects, and intricate props and set pieces.

The End of Forever follows a loving high school couple on their last night together before they are forced apart by college. Lily (Helen Highfield), an edgy girl with a taste for the macabre, is tired of being sheltered and is planning on breaking up and moving on after this last perfect night with Camden (Reese Mishler). Camden, however, is determined that this night will not be their last.
Everything starts to go horrendously wrong when Camden unintentionally makes a cruel wish which takes form and transforms Lily into an ever more hideous monster every time she tries to break up with him. What follows in the film is both a struggle to undo the wish before Lily’s life and future are ruined, and an emotional conflict as Lily and Camden come to grips with the pain of departure, each in their own way.

While remaining a story heavily grounded in realistic emotional conflict, The End of Forever is set in a gothic fantasy world, similar to those seen in the films of Tim Burton and Guillermo del Toro. Both magic and fate are very real and sinister forces that play a prominent role.

The central locale of the film is a clearing in the middle of the woods with a mysterious well in the center. The well is also secretly home to a degenerate creature who grants the wishes of people above in exchange for small offerings thrown into the well. One of the central conflicts of the film comes after Camden makes a truly selfish wish and both him and Lily are forced to climb down into the well and retrieve the promise ring that Camden has unknowingly given to the creature.

In order to better showcase the mystery and fear found in this world, a sizeable portion of the film will be shot and edited in split-screen. This will be a powerful tool in building suspense and in reflecting the horror of what the characters don’t at first see.

In order to bring this story and setting to life, and to truly do it justice, our production team is seeking to raise additional money to supplement what we are already putting into the project out of pocket (which is about $6,000).

Any money you donate to the film will go toward one of several key expenses which our production team will be working to overcome.
· A generator for shooting outdoors at night - $400
· G&E Equipment for outdoors at night - $600
· Camera Rentals - $1,500
· A truck for carrying the equipment – $500
· Catering and snacks for the crew - $900
· Permits for Locations - $500
· Building the bottom of the well - $3,000
· Special effects and Monster make-up - $3,000
