Hi folks,

I just wanted to post a quick update to let you know that I've "proof-listened" to all the chapters and sent them back to the folks at Darkfire Productions. I'm expecting to have the final audiobook file in my hand any day now. I hope to get everything wrapped up here and ready to post and send out in the next couple of weeks.

Audiobook Update, Paperbacks Sent, and EE5 ARC Details

Hey folks,

I was hoping to have the third audiobook done by now, but the narrator has had a lot of stuff going on, including a cross-country move and some dead equipment that needed to be replaced. She's recording now, though, and the Darkfire Produtions guys think we can still make the September deadline (that seemed so far away when I picked it!). 

It's been about a month since I mailed out all of the paperbacks to everyone in those reward tiers, so even the overseas folks should have gotten them by now. If you were supposed to get books but haven't seen them yet, please let me know (BurokerL AT comcast DOT net).

Also, as many of you know, I've been working hard to write the fifth Emperor's Edge book in a timely manner (on account of a certain cliffhanger at the end of 4 and readers conspiring to lock me in a dungeon... :D). I'll be doing my final edits over the next couple of weeks and then sending it off to my editor. I'll send out a Word .doc to you guys at that time, too. A thank you for your patience!

In the meantime, there are some teasers for Book 5 up on my site, and I just posted a short Sicarius story on my blog (it's from back in his days of working for the emperor).

Paperbacks Ready and Audiobook 3 in the Recording Process

Hi, everyone!

Encrypted and Conspiracy are officially paperbacks as well as ebooks now, yay! I just ordered a big pile of books from CreateSpace, and I'm off to see if eBay has boxes that are a better deal than the ones at Office Depot. In other words, these should be ready to ship out before long. For those who ordered paperbacks, I'll be sending out a survey in a few days to get your shipping information and to ask if you have any special instructions/requests for the signing.

In other news, Starla, the narrator for the audiobooks, is settled in after a long, cross-country move, and she's recording Book 3 now. I'm hoping she can do Book 4 this summer too! 

I also have all the information for the "Day in the Life" vignettes, so I'll get to work on those later this month. I'm about 2/3rds of the way into the rough draft for Book 5 and have been focusing on that due to a certain cliffhanger, ahem!
