It’s been a great few weeks as we’ve moved through Europe and now Hong Kong and China; with the highlights attending LeWeb, which has become one of the world's best tech conferences imho, and touring manufacturing partners in Shenzhen.

We've attached the pictures below, and the factory an impressive, professional and well run operation. We’re delighted to see such a committed and large scale partner in action.
Concurrently the team at home have been busy continuing work on the application, firmware, software and finalising the schematics, bill of materials and design and continually moving the project forward. Check out the video Daniel May, our project manager, put together to give you a quick overview of what’s been going on.
Thanks again for your awesome support in 2012. Everything is still on track for our late March delivery date.
We can’t wait to share what will be a fun, insightful, challenging and overall incredibly rewarding year.

Do we know what sort of socket the bulbs will come with yet? or better still will there be a range or sockets and bulbs to fit normal and GU10 and MR16?

@Ryn There are no masters or slaves from what they have said. The network will determine which bulb should be the current "master" dynamically.

A good addition to what you guys are already doing is possibly put the master in a plug in version so you dont have to keep the light switch the master is screwed into always on.

Very happy to see things moving along and that production is still looking to be on track.
As a side note, I have a couple of friends who have done business in China and both have said that you need to keep a very close eye on quality as in their personal experiences, as soon as you turn your back, it is not uncommon for cheaper substitutes to make their way into the mix.
