Hi everyone, my name is Casey Vasquez and the illustrator here is my wonderful girlfriend Fei Hsiao.  For the past year and a half, we have been running a weekly humorous video-game themed comic and blog called Life in Aggro at www.lifeinaggro.com. 

About Us:

Fei has been illustrating her whole life and has dreamed about being a comic creator whose works touch and inspire readers in the same way she has been.  My past is in technology, but I have always wanted to support my loved ones and challenge myself to constantly do new and interesting things.  

Although there is no shortage of game-themed comics, we can't deny our burning passion for the field.  We fell in love through an online game.  We eat, breath, and live video games on a daily basis and have done so for decades.  One day we may even try to make a game, but for now we are pursuing our love of comics!

Our Goal:

The purpose of this Kickstarter is to help get us off the ground in being independent creators.  Ideally, we want to make a living creating funny and awesome comics and run an entertaining and insightful blog about things gamers are passionate about.  To realize our goal, we want to create merchandise that appeals to us and our readers.  The profits we gain selling shirts will help us create a sustainable business model and work towards our dreams!

Our Kickstarter goal of $4000 will allow us to get our first batch of shirts made and fulfill pledges.  If we reach $8000, we will be able to buy a printer and label machine to sell prints of our comics and begin producing and shipping other merchandise.

About the Shirts and Hoodies:

The shirts will be printed on amazingly soft, comfy and breathable 100% Fine Jersey Cotton, Hanes Nano 4.5 oz T-Shirts.

The hoodies will be printed on wonderful 50% cotton, 50% polyester Hanes EcoSmart Comfort Blend, 7.8oz Pullover Hoods that are just the right amount of warmth and coziness.

Both shirts and hoodies are available in Small to 3XL.

Ladies T-Shirts are also available upon request for all designs EXCEPT the "Endless Quest" design in SAND (it is available in BLACK, however).

Fei and I have been sampling garments for months now, and we are extremely happy to bring you these designer-quality shirts and hoodies.  We are very passionate about producing things with purpose so we can put our names behind what we offer with confidence.  We want people to love wearing our products for their comfortable feel with the designs being that perfect bit of icing on the cake.

About the Designs:

"I Love Rock and Roll" - Available in Carolina Blue or Black

"Endless Quest" - Available in Sand or Black

"Gas Prices" - Available in Ice Gray (Unisex), Light Steel (Ladies) or Ash (Hoodie) 

The "I Love Rock and Roll" and "Endless Quest" designs are printed with traditional screen printing but are using eco-friendly water based inks that are vibrant, soft and allow the fabric to breath better than traditional inks (traditional inks are used on hoodies due to the blended fabric).

The "Gas Prices" design is printed with state-of-the-art direct to garment (DTG) printing.  They come out looking stunning, with a unique look that is impossible to feel.

For commissions, you will have a choice between your piece being done digitally or with graphite. Graphite works will be in black and white; digital works will be in color but it being in monochrome is an option. 

There will be a "character" limit of two per commission (a person, animal, monster, machine-like object etc. count as a character). You have the option of having a background. If you want one, you can propose an idea and mood you have in mind or leave it up to me to come up with something suitable. The commission request should be tasteful enough to share, though we will not share it without your consent.
