"Rebound" is a bittersweet, indie short film about an angst-driven, college girl freshly out-of-the-closet and on a mission to get kissed at Brooklyn's most familiar gay bar, The Metropolitan. Bizarre and gut-wrenching - something you will inevitably relate to, especially if you have ever been to Wednesday $2 PBR Night.

We are filming in digital with a Zeiss primes package. Shooting begins in August. We are submitting to many, many festivals and getting this film seen on the widest scope possible. As much of a creative endeavor as it is a love letter to New York and its especially beloved nightlife/queer community, you will probably see at least one person you know featured in this movie. 

Kickstarter is our primary source of fundraising. We actually set our Kickstarter goal for $900 less than what we anticipate spending. Please help us bridge this gap! It is our dream to exceed the goal and really put everything we have in fully realizing this project. Here is a breakdown of our modest budget:

Crew: $1300

Equipment: $550

Location Use: $350

Wardrobe: $150

Meals for Amazing Crew, Actors, & Extras: $700

Festival Fees (which range from $20-100 per festival): $400

DVD production, shipping, and packaging: $100

Kickstarter fees: $250

TOTAL $3400
