introducing "Voodoo Queen" A character from ToasT
If I may borrow your ear, I promise yolk hear
The log of a treacherous bitch,
Who sent her friend to he'll and made the Big D jail,
And she's servin' a twenty-two-year hitch.
Now she was a sexy maid, a shake dancer by trade,
And men was her favorite delight.
She had big eyes that smiles and the face of a child,
But her heart was as black as night.
Without further ado I'd better mention to you,
So that you'll surely understand,
That this little bundle of joy was a sissy boy,
You know, a female man.
Why you laughing so, sonny? It's not so funny.
Why this statement wise folks will endorse.
For in glorious past, great kings likes their ass,
And sex is just a matter of choice.
But back to our little joy: her life was dreadfully sad,
' cause one day on main she caught a convict chain
And rode Black Betty to her new Pad.
The sign at the gate said Huntsville state,
With bullring of brass that glossed like glass.
Now, she wondered, was it real, all that cement and steel, the machine gun, the picket, the boss?
That night in her cell, she cries like hell and swore she would kill herself,
For a filthy past and a greasy ass
Was all that the whore had left.
In the first interview the nut doctors knew
She was as freakish as a three dollar bill.
So he said, " Let's ice this tramp' cause on the prison camp somebody would surely get killed."
So they sent Miss Flamsey to the Number One Ramsey,
A place of sorrow and shame.
There's alot of lost souls in this stinkin' hellhole
And anything else a man can name.
They got the righteous dads and the so-called bads and plenty of the snitching kind,
It's a homosexual den full of crazy men,
Where a good man is hard to find.
Now the Voodoo Queen created a he'll of a scene,
She was a punk so worthy to see.
We workin' in the woods where the fuckin' was good,
Under every brushpile, stump and tree.
But as I recall, it was in the messhall,
Where every eye gleamed like glass,
Just to glimpse of the girl of the free world
Who could shake a wicked ass.
Now before very long she was coming on strong,
Performing with pride and grace.
With her silly pride she pulled a group aside
And boasted how she lived in the street.
Claimed she dressed like a star, had a Cadillac car,
And the choicest of food to eat.
But I got the word from that Jackson Bird
He lied every step of the way;
said she was a homemade punk, a real live skunk
That shit ten times a day.
He was quick to insist that the bitch was rich and praised her as high as he could,
But it wasn't long before the dog done him wrong
And that's when he found out the bitch was no good.
But there were some that thought well of this daughter from hell
And claimed that her lovin' was hard to beat.
She was young and strong and her wind was long
And a shyster didn't stand a chance.
Her ass was as tight as a bulldog's bite
And her fee was a dollar in advance.
Now I saw that Dallas kid when he lost his wig,
He was just as wild as a goose,
And wonder boy white wrote notes all night,
Until she cut his ass loose.
Then Smilin' Moe, he went for the who',
But Mother Carrie caught him fair,
Then the deputy lawman tried to take a hand,
But he was too damned square.
Of course their were lots more,
But their effort was mighty dim.
There was whorehouse Jimmy, Mr. Eataplenty,
And yet talked that gangster talk,
And his good pal Boss pulled like a Hoss
To prove that he could walk that talk.
But it was the Sheriff of the wing made his sting
And promised her a happy life,
With high-handed pride he pushed pretty Miss Blue-eyes aside and took the voodoo queen to be his wife.
