Update #25: I am going to be on the cover of Rolling Stone!
......with your help! In case you haven’t heard, this is the big news I have been talking about in the last few emails! I was selected (among 15 other contestants) by Rolling Stone editors and Atlantic Records to be involved in this contest. The winner will be on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, play on the Jimmy Fallon show, play the main stage at one of the biggest music festivals Bonnaroo, and a whole lot more.
You guys have always been extremely supportive of me, my music, AND this is the biggest thing that has ever come my way. I am beyond excited, it is actually surreal, and it was surreal when Jimmy Fallon announced my name on his show the other night and actually pronounced it RIGHT!! no one ever gets it right the first time! that was super exciting!
This is a long haul contest. There are four rounds. The first round started on the 15th and goes for 3 weeks. Rolling Stone will pick 4 contestants to move on, and you the voters pick 4. After that it's all Voter Picking!! They will be counting not only Votes, but how high you rate me, how much interaction I have on Facebook and Twitter....and other things. So here are the details for Round 1!!!

3) Hit the Facebook Like button (if you aren’t on Facebook, why not?!) : ) You could always make an account it you want to!

That’s it, I won’t tell you to give the other artists lower stars cause I think that’s kind of lame, I think I should win on my own merit, not on knocking someone else down, so my advice is not to do that. Positivity 2011!! (but probably not a good idea to vote other people 5 stars...I’m not THAT positive!
Thank you! And let’s make this happen!! (please share with family and friends as well!!) Also, someone suggested, they were going to vote at work on that computer as well...it only lets you vote once per IP address, so don’t waste your time voting twice, it won’t count.

You have plenty of merit! I agree with your Positivity. I thought about doing the rate you 5 and give all the others 1 but they have a sophisticated voting system, so they may have algorithms in place to handle that kind of vote rating behavior.
