The Jammy! is a modular boombox, conceived and manufactured by real people in Portland OR.

It's a beast, at 18"w x 10.5"h x 8"d there's no way you can mistake it for another new-fangled all in one micro system. While its design cues originate from the large format boxes of yesterday, we decided to put fidelity first.

You won't find an endless sea of moulded chrome effect plastic here, no thrift store woofers slapped haphazardly on suitcases. The Jammy! cabinet is made with the same materials and construction found in bass reflex HiFi enclosures.

Yes we know our stuff! We did our research and designed the Jammy! around speaker driver measurements taken by us with the actual driver on hand.

It comes in two flavors Non-Amplified which will connect to any stereo receiver just like a set of HiFi speakers. 

The Self-Amplified Jammy! which features its own onboard Class-D amplifier, features an 1/8" input (headphone jack) to connect almost any audio device and allows use of our expansion modules.

Expansion

We aren't wasteful people, so we figure why pay for features you don't need. Thats why the Jammy! is modular. Each unit comes with a standard 1/8" input jack for use with your mobile device of choice. From there three removable panels offer expansion possibilities. Wireless receivers, led VU meters, onboard mp3 players, and more are up for grabs. Whats more is these modules will be compatible with future Jammy! designs.

With its simple clean lines, solid presence, and powerful sound the Jammy! is sure to catch a gaze or three.

We think of this simplicity as a blank canvas for personal expression, to that end we made it easy for you to make it your own. Adorn it with your own color way, carve your lover's initials into it, attach a spoiler. Whatever you want to do is cool, just send us a picture.

With our DIY kit you can build your Jammy! the way you want. Every part is precision machined and engineered for ease of assembly with out the use of tools you don't have...

To make it all happen Leaptronic has partnered with ADX's Portland Made brand. In short Portland Made's intent is to help designers move their prototypes into large scale production. ADX's 10,000 sq. ft. facility is not only home to the laser shooting robots that meticulously craft each part of the Jammy! but also a super supportive community of makers.
