A daring performance work and survivalist adventure...in the form of a dinner.
Welcome and thank you for checking out my Kickstarter project! I'm an artist, based in Brooklyn, originally from South-Eastern Michigan.
I've spent the past year and a half working on a new project exploring self-sufficiency in an urban environment. I've been cooking up awesome photographs and an exciting performance. On July 25th this project will culminate in an exhibition and dinner at Allegra La Viola Gallery in New York City.
The event, "Tomorrow We Will Feast Again on What We Catch," is a display of photography and performance culminating in an urban hunter-gatherer feast. On July 25, 2012 guests at Allegra La Viola Gallery will be transported to a dystopian future. Guests will gather in a rudimentary dining space, furnished with handmade leather stools and a table crafted from material salvaged from the streets and sidewalks of NYC. Brave souls and adventurers who choose to participate will be presented with an unusual feast; dining on one of New York City’s truly sustainable resources: rats. Chef Yuri Hart will be preparing a variety of tantalizing rodent recipes for daring diners.
$2,000 is the minimum I need to make this show happen, but the more you contribute the more people we will be able to reach. I’ve worked hard to create some great rewards –take a minute to check them out! Funds will be used to cover the cost of the rodents and ingredients, kitchen equipment rental, the making of special rat hide garments, the production of photographs, and the making of furniture.
I hope to create a seamless and memorable experience for the viewer and share my photographs and adventures with a wide audience. To everyone who has been a friend and supporter of my work for so many years, my deep appreciation and thanks; to everyone who is joining me now, a warm welcome and sincere thank you!

Be sure to mark your calendars for July 25th. If you're in or near New York, I would be thrilled to see you in person at the dinner and exhibition you've helped to make possible!
