The Just One Book Project is a collection of stories from the LGBT community around the country, sharing their personal experiences of love, loss, pain, and inequality.

Our goal is to give those who are opposed to marriage equality the opportunity to read these stories, with the hope of getting people thinking. If this project changes even one person's mind then it will be a huge step in the right direction. We'll be sending the finished project to a list of public figures that are openly opposed to equality. From politicians, to athletes and religious leaders. We're asking them to respond, even if it's negative. 

Our authors are young and old, gay, lesbian, straight, everyday people. The essays include tales of acceptance, coming out, hate, and, most importantly, love.

We're not just telling stories, we're sharing lives. We're trying to start conversations and get people thinking. Please help us reach our funding goal and share these stories with the world.
