My comment on March 8th was inaccurate. I DID receive my Juices cable. I had forgot I received it because I immediately threw it in the trash in December and thought to my self in March, "Why can't I remember having this cable?". Since I can't delete my original comment I thought I'd correct my omission and make a new correcting it.

Received mine a few months ago, both have since stop working. The cables need to be laid flat at all times as the material is not designed to bend or twist. You can't wrap it up like other cables or it will break. Within two days mine had signs of damage at the connection points to the USB adapter and 30 pin connection. Great idea and lots of waiting for a product that won't ever make it to any retailers shelves for quality control purposes.

Crappy quality, crappy material. The same build quality you'd expect from the knockoff cables you'd order on eBay for 99 cents. Plastic is stiff, and the wire barely works most of the time.

Needless to say Juicies has ruined all credibility for themselves, and their creator.

Crappy cable. Could barely fit anything into it and about 80% of the time it'll crap out on me and I'll get "not charging", requiring me to unplug it and plug it back in.

All this work. All this time. All this energy for ABSOLUTE CRAP.

I paid a dollar, and I seriously feel I've well overpaid. I'll be putting this cable where it, and Laurens, belong. Right in the trash. You have made an embarrassment of yourself, and the fact that you were even willing to crap this garbage out to anyone is a complete joke.

I'll make sure to watch what you do in the future and back it, just to ensure I warn everyone just what kind of businessman you are.

I got my "Juicies" cable in the mail (no extra postage needed). I don't have definitive proof but I find it highly suspect that I've seen what I think are the exact same cables in the past for $5 at Fred Meyer's (store in the Pacific Northwest). Same teardrop logo and everything - just different packaging. Glad I only paid $1 for this thing.

Yesterday all the remaining Juicies rewards were shipped out. Yours was sent too! However a little problem occurred: The packages were dropped off at a post office in a different zip code then from what was on the prepaid label. So while the full shipping cost of $1.64 was paid correctly, there might be a difference of $0.37 that will need to be paid by YOU the recipient. So sorry!

There was one package that already arrived this morning in Hawaii that had this issue, a few others arrived just fine without having to cover the difference.

The cable I received doesn't provide constant connection (on the MicroUSB end) even though it fits snugly in my phone's charging port. As a result the phone goes spastic thinking it's being plugged and unplugged.

The 8 other Micro USB cables that I have work fine.

I really do not understand any positive comments for this cable, they are bad quality cables for sure and since the whole eco thing seemed to be forgotten and I can get similar cables on ebay for 99p, I really do not see the point nor understand what took so long.

Added to this I couldn't get the colour I wanted (i wanted to change to a white micro USB cable so I could at least use it with the adapters since I no longer have products with this outdated dock connector) as the rewards had to all 'ship now' after 18 months of waiting despite all promised colour choices not being available. I opted for a gray micro USB but then was sent a gray dock connector cable anyway, I was told I could return it to Germany but obviously its not worth my while to pay for return international postage for an item I barely want anyway.

This kickstarter has been a complete disappointment.

Finally got my cable. A year and a half after it was funded. I've said some negative things about Laurens. All of them I stand by but I did say I would stand corrected when I had the item in my hand. Well I got it in the mail today. Awesome timing too because I have an iPhone5 which doesn't use this cable so this is effectively useless to me. *golf clap* So Laurens is not a fraud. That is the extent to which I will take back anything I said. Everything else I said I stand by. Your project Laurens was an absolute tragedy of a project to back. Your product has to be the cheapest feeling cable I have ever felt. You took a year and a half to get the product in people's hands. You did not communicate until the pressure of lawsuits, finding out where you lived and a flood of negative comments and emails were sent. That being said I am SO glad I no longer have to worry about the item I paid for. As cheap as it feels and as useless as it will be to me I no longer will worry about this tragedy of a project.

Got mine today (In the UK).

Good:
It's the right cable, the colour I wanted and it works.

Bad:
1. For an 'eco' product there's way too much packaging. Wrap the cable in a band of paper, then store it in a paper bag inside a cardboard box secured with sticky tap and include a heavy card advert for more cables. These steps don't sound as eco as "Put cable in box" to me. I guess the whole eco/sustainable angle was just to drum up interest.

2.The quality is nowhere near up to Apple's standard. The plastic cable ends arrived scratched. The wire is very stiff and the cable protectors are also very stiff and look like they'll snap in time. Rather than bend, the plastic stretches and introduces white stress marks. Very cheap.

3. The grey symbols on the red cables look terrible, there's not enough contrast for them to stand out. Should have been white.

All in all, what I was expecting.
