Note from the Director

In 2010, I used Kickstarter to fundraise for my short film ICE HOCKEY.  With the help of 34 backers, $1,720 was raised to cover the costs of festival submissions, post-production and reimburse about 20 percent of the film's budget.  The film went on to be an Official Selection at Independent Film Festival Boston.

And so with the launch of this new project, I've decided to make ICE HOCKEY available to the public.  I hope that it will serve as an example of the kind of work made possible with grassroots financial backing. (Click here to watch: http://vimeo.com/17376182)

Ultimately though, the success of "Brothers" won't be measured in dollars, but in whether it can find an audience.  That's why I'm releasing a digital copy of the film with every pledge.  If this is the kind of film you want to see, please contribute today at any level and share this project with friends, family and colleagues.
