Our First Lark Cookbook Roughcut
Thanks to the overwhelming support we've received for the Lark Cookbook project, we were able to start production early and are happy to present our first "Roughcut" of cookbook content!

This Roughcut, a Lark-favorite recipe and accompanying slideshow of images, is open for everyone to view. Future roughcuts, including exclusive video clips, will be viewable by our Kickstarter supporters only with an opportunity to post comments and share feedback. That's where the collaborative nature of this project will really kick in.
If you haven't supported our project yet and would like access to future Roughcuts, we hope you'll sign up. Access starts at the $10 level. If you're already a supporter and like what you see (and who doesn't like meyer lemon parfait?), please be sure to share this with your food-loving friends and family so they can be part of the process, too. Thanks, everyone! Click here to view the Roughcut.

This is one of my favorite desserts ever!!! My other fave is your coconut sorbet!! I hope that makes it in your cookbook! And if you are taking suggestions, your scrambled eggs with shaved truffles! OMG..so yummy!

PS forgot to add that it looks great! I hope you will be including a recipe for the chocolate mini-Madeleines in the cookbook. Love those!

What size and how many molds for the parfait would be very helpful to know. The dessert has 5 components but only three recipes. What is on top of the preserve and what kind of cookie tops it all?
Here in Alaska we see Meyer Lemons in our stores in February but rarely if ever do we see Kumquats. Is there another citrus you could recommend for the preserve for those of us who have limited access?
Creator Derek Slager on March 27, 2012
Looks great, thanks for sharing. Would love to see (metric) weights in future recipes where relevant / if possible.
It might also be useful to approximate the size/count of lemons needed for people buying in low quantity.

The directions to not include how to put everything together for serving/presentation.
