Stevie Wonder wrote a song in my honor titled "Lady Prema ". Below is a picture of Stevie and I at an intimate gathering of friends.

LADY PREMA
I have been in music all my life starting in my mothers womb. I am called the "Leading Lady of Healing Entertainment ", because my music lifts spirits and frees souls. It brings people together and unifies cultures, races, colors and religions. The spirit behind my music is one of transformation. It acts as a catalyst to raise the vibration and awareness of our life experience. I share a message of LOVE, unity, peace and truth. "Paradise" as with all my previous music and poetry is about life.
When I perform I am selective about the venues thus I look for healing environments. I prefer acoustic music but I realize people have also been conditioned to digital. Today I incorporate both into my music.
Over the years many people offered to help me because they believed in me, my voice and my music, but I was not ready. I had "a lot of healing to do" on myself which happens to be the title of my last CD "We've Got A Lot of Healing To Do". You can listen to the title song from that CD below.
I met Lena Horne at a small gathering with some intimate friends and read one of my poems to her. She inspired me so much when she told me to "Hang In There" that I cried for two hours. You can listen to one of my poems "Living Blue Lotus Flower" from my Poetry CD "Ritualize" below.
"PARADISE"
This is what my new CD "Paradise" is all about. It celebrates a new beginning for me and my music. I have overcome many life challenges that held me back from flourishing in a music career. Show business can be hard on talented people and unfortunately takes many off track. Although I never left show business completely, I committed myself more to my spiritual path for several years rather than be tempted by an industry I felt could possibly cost me my soul.
"Paradise" is that place within all of us. The home of our "soul", LOVE and joy. In this CD I will convey the journey it takes to get to paradise... the challenges and triumphs. It will include healing messages that will bring inner understanding of this journey. The music on this CD will help us flow with life. "Paradise" is a celebration and acceptance of our life.
I am recording this new CD "Paradise" to enliven people to live their higher truth as our world seems today to be in turmoil. The lyrics in the songs will be motivating and the music funky and celestial. I am an inspired artist. The creator sings through me.

Some of the genius musicians I've personally met or worked with over the years besides Lena Horne (ALPHABETICALLY BY FIRST NAME) are Carlos Garnet (arranger, song-writer, and has played saxophone with Miles David), my once husband and friend Cliff Adams, (trombonist) of Kool and the Gang, jazz great Donnie Hathaway, Erika Badu, rock-and-rollers the Exciters, Freddie Hubbard, Gil Scott Heron, Leon Thomas (the creator has a Master Plan), Mel Lewis, Nina Simone, Roy Ayers, Rason Roland Kirk, Thad Jones, Pharoh Sanders (great musician and composer).
