THE PITCH: On March 15th, 2012, The LabRats will launch our second year of producing new theatre, and this time we're dreaming even bigger and producing two plays in repertory: HA! HA! by Lawrence Dial and So by Suzanne Heathcote. These two plays have been developed within the company over the past year  and we cannot wait to share them with you.

WHERE THE MONEY WILL GO: With your generous donations, we can make the worlds of HA! HA! and So come to life. Covering everything from materials for the set design to paper to print the press release, each dollar that you donate will help an element of this play move from the page to the stage. Money raised from Kickstarter will also help fund the continued development of new plays.

ABOUT THE PLAYS: HA! HA! and So are both plays about artists. HA! HA! is an unlikely love story between a graffiti artist and a recently graduated traffic cop. So is a story about Astrid, an artist, whose ex unexpectedly reappears and forces her to face the choices of her past and acknowledge the person she used to be and the person she has become.

The plays are scheduled to run at Shetler Studios (244 West 54th Street) from March 15 until Sunday April 1st. We thank you so much for your help!
