About this project
Life is about passion. That thing that makes you feel absolutely, totally and completely alive. We all have a passion. Maybe more than one if we’re lucky. And when we acknowledge, tap into and share that which we love, life starts to make more sense.
Kyla Graves lives this philosophy and has set out in this world to pursue her passion with gratitude and purpose, taking it all on the road in August 2011 for the Amour Tour.
Kyla’s passion is music. Now with her second album, “Just Be,” in hand, Kyla will bring her songs, sultry voice, guitar, and smile from San Diego to Portland, OR and everywhere in between.
Kyla will be joined on the Amour Tour by her sister Brianna, who will help to manage the details that musicians shouldn't have to worry about. Brianna will simultaneously spend time with some of the West Coast's best ad agencies to continue the voyage of her own pursuit of passion, The Saturn Return Project, while Kyla is singing and strumming her heart out.
Two sisters, doing what they love with one common goal: support each others’ passions and share that love with the world around them.
With the help of Kickstarter and your support, the Amour Tour will become a reality. Your contributions will go toward the recording, distribution, publicity and travel costs of this tour. Any contribution, $1 or more, makes a difference in realizing Kyla's dream. It's allies like you that inspire the words Kyla writes and sings, and the tour cannot happen without your help.
Thank you for taking the time to read about the intentions of the Amour Tour. It's going to be amazing and you are invited to join the journey!
If you cannot make a contribution, please consider spreading the word to your community through your social networks and via word of mouth. Learn more (and stay in touch virtually) at http://theamourtour.tumblr.com.
Much love and appreciation, Kyla and the Amour Tour

An L.A.-based singer-songwriter born and raised in the green mountains of Vermont, Kyla has performed throughout the United States playing original music since the age of twelve. She has played with well-known artists such as Matt Nathanson and Tina Dico (of Zero 7).
In 2007, Kyla released her first E.P titled “Loving Tree” with producer/engineer Jared Slomoff (Mike Gordon, Page McConnell, Fonzworth Bentley). After its release, Kyla was L.A.-bound (the title of one of her new songs) where she has lived since 2008.
Over the past three years, she has performed in numerous venues in and around Los Angeles, including The House of Blues, Hotel Café, The Viper Room, Room 5, Bar Lubitsch and Pop Lounge. In June of 2009, Kyla performed at a fundraising event with Sara Bareilles and members of The Counting Crows (David Immerglück and Charlie Gillingham).
Kyla’s soothing voice and catchy melodies capture her audience’s attention at first listen. Beyond her wholesome New England upbringing and her California style, Kyla’s one-of-a-kind music resonates with a sound and voice all its own, revealing a captivating young artist.
Kyla just released her second project, called “Just Be,” co-written and produced by musician Georg Brandl Egloff (egloffmusic.com). This E.P features a full band, and reflects her experience since arriving in the City of Angels.
Kyla's sister Brianna will lend her skills from years in the world of advertising, marketing and promotion to the Amour Tour. Brianna will also visit some of the West Coast's best advertising agencies as she simultaneously continues the path of The Saturn Return Project (www.thesaturnreturnproject.com), which she founded in May 2011. The West Coast of the USA will be the third destination for Brianna and The Saturn Return Project, which began in South Africa and journeyed on to Canada.
