I just want to address a few of things that have come up in the survey responses.
I have had a couple of people who wrote in more than one choice for their print.I had listed the reward as one signed and numbered giclee print of the drawing of your choice. The minimum one could donate in order to receive this reward was 5.00. If you donated more than 5.00 it was accepted as an additional monetary gift towards meeting my ultimate goal of 5,000 dollars so I could go forward with the project. I think there may have been some confusion as it seems some people may have interpreted it as one free print per each 5.00 increment contributed. I'm sorry for any mix up that may have occurred and truly wish I could give everyone all the prints they want, but I set aside just what was needed to cover the cost of one print per individual donation. Please let me know, out of the ones you chose, which image you like the best. It's fascinating to discover which particular works have stirred the most interest. Thank you!
Secondly, there were a number of people who didn't chose any particular drawing or typed "surprise" where one would fill in that information. I just wanted to let those individuals know that they are free to chose whichever image they like the best. If you are genuinely requesting a surprise/artist's choice, either write this in the allotted space on the survey or I will simply assume this if I get a response with no image allocated.
So far, I've heard from about half of you whom requested a reward. In order to get these out to you in a timely manner I would ask that everyone get back to me by Sunday the 14th (this coming weekend). That way, I can get them printed and shipped out asap. (If for some reason you have missed these notifications, just get in touch with me. Everyone who chose to get a reward will get one!)
Thanks again for your continued support. This project has helped me to grow in so many artistic directions. I have found a wonderful gallery in town that's expressed a great deal of interest in my work, as well as a gifted writer who is collaborating with me on a children's book. You have all made this possible and I am so grateful to you.
