Why Kickstarter?

It is extremely expensive and time consuming to machine each case in our machine shop.  We are working with a manufacturer who will set up molds and get us a first run.  This will allow us to hit the price point of $49.00 each and have them available before the holidays.

We really believe in this product and we want to get the word out to as many people as we can.  This is a product that is useful for so many different iPhone users.  It's great for creating a Kickstarter video, following kids around, interviews, traveling, making movies.

We've been asked if we are going to make a version of this for the upcoming iPhone 5. The answer is we will if this campaign is successful. The reality is that even though the iPhone 5 will be out this fall, there will still be millions of people using the iPhone 4 and 4s. Getting the ball rolling on this now will allow us to easily create a version for the iPhone 5.
