I have been doing string art for several years with florescent string and black lights but the first dust storm on the playa will just make the reactive string a mono color of all brown. That is why I have developed a micro controller and a bunch of electronics to power fiber optic string art. Not only does string art change color but patterns as well. With this goal I can do more string art patterns that will surround the entire dome in addition to the pentagon I already have. All additional funding will go towards more fiber optic so I can make bigger geometric patterns that will illuminate and mesmerize you.
