Man & Bear, Chihuahua´s new folk band record their first album 

 Hey everyone! So here we are, three guys from Chihuahua, Mexico trying to take our game to the next level!! We love music. It inspires us, it makes us want to create new things, to express ideas and emotions, and it makes us want to communicate. We have been playing for a while now and we have slowly started to get people interested in our music. Folk is something uncommon here where we live and we want spread what folk music means to us. 

It turns out that playing and writing music comes in very natural when we are together as a band; we do it with all our heart; we do it because we love folk music. 

We believe that it tells stories that everyone can identify with, that the music is simple and powerful, that it is as easy as picking up a guitar and sing your heart out. Folk music is about the people who play it, where they are from and the stories they know. We believe in our music and we are positive that this bunch of new songs will bring a fresh take to the essence of traditiona1 American Folk. We want to reach a broader audience and to do that we want to record a full LP and have it finished by the end of this year, with the quality only a good recording studio can deliver, with all its awesome gear, expertise and knowledge. We need studio time to make an LP that will grant us the opportunity to break through the boundaries of our city. It will give us the chance to portray a different perspective of life in border cities of Mexico and the US and reveal the unique mix of cultures that take form as awesome musical pieces. 

 Our goal it to be able to keep playing the music we love, for all people who are willing to listen. We want to become better singers, musicians and performers. So through this project we offer our music, or heart and soul and we ask for your support to make our dream come true.

 We want to thank our friends, film makers, makeup artists, photographers, models, for helping us make the best possible video we could have done for this kickstarter. Without their will and amazing support we would not have made it this far. Did we mention they did not charge a single dime for it? 

The Works 

Every Kickstarter project must be fully funded before its time expires or no money changes hands. We have 45 days to come up with $ 15,000 usd! If our project is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the project reaches its funding deadline. If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. That's why they call them pledges. If funding does not succeed and our project does not reach its goal, all existing pledges are cancelled by Kickstarter and that´s that. No matter the outcome of our project you will receive an email from kickstarter at our project deadline informing you of the project outcome. 

 How do you pledge? 

To pledge for our project, just click the green “Back This Project” button on our project page. You will be asked to enter your pledge amount and select a reward. From there, you will go through the Amazon checkout process. Note that you must finish the Amazon checkout process for your pledge to be recorded.
