Michael R. West (Cloud Thirteen Productions) started in 2003 when it began editing for a local company in Newport, RI. Producing such projects as Tiny Tim: The Last Hurrah and Satan & The Saint, it quickly grew into doing all sorts of independent filming/post production work since.
The Artists
West co-directed and co-starred in the feature film ‘Festival’ with Brett Leigh in 2010. The film premiered at the Boston International Film Festival in 2011. They won ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Comedy’ at the American International Film Festival 2011. Las Vegas Film Festival awarded the film a 'Golden Ace' Award for 2011. The film has recently just been accepted to the Action On Film International Film Festival as an 'Official Selection' which premieres in late July. Distribution deals are currently in the works as well as many other awaiting festivals.
West also directed and starred in a TV pilot called ‘Lunch’. That project won an ‘Official Finalist’ award at the Las Vegas Film Festival in 2010. Aside from directing & acting, West has been editing for over ten years. He's also had 2 nominations and 1 win at the Action On Film International Film Festival in 2008 & 2010 for two dramatic screenplays.
Doherty Jr. is a spiritual person with a great attitude towards life. He has been acting for years while writing and directing his own shorts. Doherty Jr.’s last two shorts ‘Love Hurts’ & ‘Lemonade Stand’ both premiered at the Boston International Film Festival. Doherty Jr. has a deep love for acting and has been successful in comedy & drama roles.
Corbett has spent the last 15 years dedicated to music and creative arts. He has been a drummer and guitarist for many different bands in Rhode Island. Alongside that, he has been into creative writing since a young adult. He continues with his creativity as the drummer for an band making headway in New England called 'Mother of Dylan'. He performs in the area currently.
