Komic-T is a t-shirt design company with 3 private label designs, Skullz, StreetDunkah and CueHead.
The goal for this project is to get 2,000 shirts printed and in the hands of the public. I'm a tee shirt graphic artist with Komic-T designs which is my way of saying comic t-shirts. I've created several t-shirt concepts and characters that I am branding under the Komic-T company. My overall goal is to create a family of cartoon characters that will be printed on all types of garments, hard goods and eventually migrate into comic books and television cartoons.
The first concept I am introducing is called "SKULLZ". I will start the campaign with this full color "Death With Honor" design that I was inspired to create when I saw the movie "Battle Los Angeles" and footage of our troops in Afganistan. This is a full color eye catching print. I must get this design out and on the backs of at least 2,000 people for this project to be a success. The t-shirts will be printed by AdPro.org in Grove City, OH. This company has been printing for me the past three years and they produce outstanding printed products. The owner of AdPro is prepared to print the t-shirt designs and and all of the rewards for this Kickstarter campaign once the goal is reached.
The plan is to produce the shirts in quantity and get them on the backs of the Kickstarter backers to aid in getting the word out and increasing visibility for the concept. Kickstarter’s pre-sale funding model is a great way to achieve this goal and I am looking forward to sharing my concepts with the Kickstarter family.
What are the shirts about
I have noticed that Skull designs have been in and out of fashion for as long as I can remember and I believe that it will continue to resurface time and time again. Skull artwork continues to be a consumer favorite and my “Skullz” concept is designed to appeal to all ages. The designs concept is very versatile and will evolve with coming trends. Komic-T will have 400 each of 5 designs printed for this project.
The "DEATH WITH HONOR" design is dedicated to the Marines and all of the men and women in the U.S. armed forces around the Globe. Come Home Safe.
Below are 4 of the 5 "Skullz" designs that will be offered to pledgers of $100 or more. The Skullz designs are "Alien Skullz, Alien Agenda, AfroZombie, and SkullzAssassin. Each of these will be a seperate t-shirt line under the "SKULLZ" name in 2013 but you can get them now for pledging at least $100.
The shirts will be tagless and will run in sizes small, medium, large, extra-large, double extra large and triple XL. All t-shirts are of high quality because I will not accept anything less. The custom printed shirts that are offered to pledgers of $100 and more will be direct to garment prints that fuse the ink to the cotton for a longer lasting print that retains color quality.
The Komic-T design arsenal is vast. Once this project is a success it will create an opportuity for me to introduce many other concepts for t-shirts and apparel. You will begin to see many unique ideas fom the Komic-T family. Some of my next concepts are StreetDunkah, LadyDunkah, BabyDunkah, and StreetDunkah Enemies that will all be a part of the "SAGA" comic book.
Also, two more concepts on the drawing board are Afro Ninja and CueHead.

Who is making the shirts?
The shirts are going to be produced by Adpro, a company in Ohio that has produced quality prints for me the past three years. This is a professional company that has mass production capabilities.
What is the shirt quality like?
Most of the shirts are 100% cotton. Some will be 50/50 blend but still high quality; I am serious about the quality of my product.
What should I request?
That depends how you like your shirt to fit. These are comparable to men’s t-shirt sizes.
I don’t see a size option in the reward categories, only color options. How will you know what size I want?
After the project is over and assuming it’s fully funded, then I’ll send out a message to everyone requesting their size at that time, and confirming shipping details.
When will I receive my rewards?
The projection date is May but larger than expected orders my cause a short delay into early June. I will move as quickly as possible once the project reaches or exceeds the goal.
