It's amazing to think that less than one week ago, I launched this Kickstarter campaign. It was a sort of hail mary, so to speak, in order to keep everything on track this year. Before the burglary, I had been diligently working on a new album, setting up tours, and initiating creative advocacy projects. Thanks to you, I am able to continue with my work without any delay.
Eighteen hours is all it took to fully fund our $3,000 goal. As I write, we are 181% funded, which is incredible-tremendous-amazing-unbelievable. In the next week, I'd like to share some of the songs you'll be getting on your digital EP and hopefully an outtake or two from the Spring Song Vol. 2 sessions. There's some real gold that won't be making the actual album.
I cannot thank you enough for all your support and encouragement. This campaign and the shows I've played since the launch have deeply moved me. This season in my life has been illuminating and uplifting in a way I never could have anticipated, so thanks for being a part of it. It means the world.
