From their first projects and performances at age 16, Pepe, Cheef and Jester have worked towards their hip-hop dreams with a strong DIY style. Over the years, after 4 albums, a mixtape and a new EP out, along with hundreds of shows and thousands of hours put into mastering their craft, KnowMads have built a strong following. Based in Seattle, their success so far has led to some national recognition through word of mouth, YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and more. This growing and dedicated following is what sets the KnowMads apart. The KnowMadic family is beyond a record label, as the group continues to integrate their fans into the movement. The MC's encourage and inspire kids to look at the world critically and work towards positive change with what they've got while having fun and enjoying life to the fullest.

KnowMads skipped the traditional record label approach to create an organic, grassroots movement and make their music without outside pressures. To keep this up, Jester, Pepe, and Cheef need support from the growing KnowMadFam through Kickstarter. Donations will be used for the creation and completion of the knew album and for a high-quality visual to be released for a song from the album. Money will also be used by KnowMads to secure features from some better-known artists in the hip-hop and music world for this album. This will expand their national reach as well as allow them to test their skills with other talented artists and continue to grow into the legendary MC's they're destined to be.
