Let's talk.
As personally as i can put it, the new record and the Battleship video have really taught me a lot.
And all lessons don't feel good to learn, and sometimes the lesson itself is extremely difficult to accept.
Needless to say, I, Kip Kolb, the person who is responsible for all this creative flare up, is really sorry for the delay on both.
My video team has worked diligently thru all kinds of obstacles, and they have never once faltered. They have solved problems and pushed themselves beyond previous limitations, and have assured me the FINISHED Battleship video will make it to South By Southwest by the final deadline. November 14th. It may be sooner, but I like some of you, have no more breath to hold. The Tigerlily team aims for the same level of quality that we do at kLoB, and will not release crap.
Exaggerate the Follow Through is also annoyingly close to completion. I am hoping to have it ready for stocking stuffers. And all of you who donated to get your copy WILL GET YOUR COPY! Again, doing this stuff independently amongst staying afloat financially and not losing my mind, all while juggling the logistics of life, has taught me a lot.
I really hope all of your patience pays off, and that smiles abound upon kLoB's new arrivals. I try my best to keep quality high, and bullshit low. It's all I know how to do. That pressure makes me difficult to handle at times, and because of that I thank all of the team from the deepest of the same soul I try and sing with. My band and my wife first, my family, my friends, the entire video crew, and most importantly everybody who digs kLoB. The fans make the band.
