The Realm of Agennul is an ever evolving board game where you control the fate of the characters and the future of the realms. Our goal is to create a fantasy world and outlet for participants to collaborate and decide how characters, realms, and the lore develop within the game. 

So we want YOU. The artists, gamers, and writers to get involved to further the stories, artwork, and imagine beyond The Realm of Agennul, because it is: Your Art. Your Rules. Your Game.

The Realm of Agennul: The Board Game is a 3-6 player interactive area control, hero slaying, board game with a simplistic game-play that allows any newer player to learn play quickly.

So...How do you play?

Players receive two characters, which must work together to earn the patronage of cities within Agennul. During the game players must protect those cities from invading players who are also competing for the control of the Realm.

Use characters to navigate through the Realm and conquer cities to gain coin and control of Agennul. With the coin upgrade, increase your city's defenses by paying coin for a fortification or purchase equipment for your characters to increase their abilities. Engage in epic battles between players as ego's grow while the limited towns and cities are fought over. Be conniving and pay off players to avoid conflict in order to secure your advancement in the Realm.

The Realm of Agennul is very simplistic at its core but can develop into a complicated strategic game as power shifts around the table between players.

The first player to have control of the most cities as well as the patronage of the Hero's City of Anos, is anointed as The Hero of Agennul and Protector of the Realms.

The Realm of Agennul is the underlying infrastructure for artists, writers, gamers and contributors to build off of as the realms expands. Our goal is to support those who support us, so we want to work with you to get your creative ideas into the Realm through expansion decks, graphic novels, books, the limits are truly endless .

Players can create new rules, realms, characters and stories through our online community website agennul.com. Participants can comment and rate on the user submitted ideas that will be implemented into the next expansion of the game. 

Artists can create a profile to submit their own artwork for characters, cities, action and equipment cards that could be put into future releases. Create galleries of your personal artwork of the realm to share with the community to get recognized. We want to work with you to develop your skills and gain the recognition you deserve!

Writers can submit their own writings revolving around characters, realm lore, cities, epic battles, and everything in between. Stories will be compiled into the short stories of the realm and one epic graphic novel story.

We challenge you to play and compete with you family and friends, and to submit your 'House Rules" and receive recognition in the version 2.0 of the rulebook!

How is this project funded? What's the Funding for?

Over the past year (and then some), The Realm of Agennul has been our idea of what a board game should be, but we want more than that. We need YOU to get involved and share your own ideas and experiences with The Realm of Agennul. When the sharing of ideas begin, the possibilities of what can happen in the realms are endless. This is Your Art. Your Rules. Your Game.

Together the team and original contributors have spent many hours building The Realm of Agennul concept, testing game play, designing artwork, the community-driven website, as well as the creation of the background stories and lore. 

The project funding will be used towards the manufacturing and distribution of the first run of The Realm of Agennul and also the development of the website. Collaborating with the community of contributors will also begin the development of The Realm of Agennul expansion packs. With stretch goals the community and team have the opportunities to fund and enhance the experience of the board game.

We want this game to be top of the line and for that reason all funding will be going towards the fullest professional production quality game of The Realm of Agennul. So the more funding for the product the more we can give back to the   gamers in all of us!
