About this project
I'm a fledgling videoblogger living in Brooklyn, NY. The webcast I'm making, which you can check out at http://www.youdigest.com, is a daily roundup of top news stories. My goal for one month is to produce a new show out of my little apartment every Monday through Thursday, and one additional show on the weekends on a specific topic of interest. (I call that the digestif to be fancy.)
The only thing stopping me is time! (And I suppose money, given the age-old maxim of time equaling money, etc.) At the moment I have two jobs, and since it's just me doing all the writing, shooting, editing, and other random assorted production jobs I can't seem to find enough hours to get everything done. What I'm hoping you'll do is sponsor me for a month so that I can let one of the jobs go and concentrate on getting my little videoblog out into the world on schedule.
I'm hoping to raise $700. (Why I choose to live in one of the world's most expensive cities is a question that'll have to wait for another time.) Hopefully helping me financially will provide you with a little entertainment value. For my part, I can assure you that it'll be deeply satisfying to focus on creating something that's mostly just been a glimmer in my eye for a long time. A digitally pixelated glimmer, not to be confused with a tear.
