I woke up on Friday, June 22 in my New Orleans hotel room in a panic. It hit me that I had just 2.5 days left to raise $1,500 for my ALL or NOTHING Kickstarter campaign for the Travel Guide to Multicultural London.

That meant that if I did not raise the entire $6,000 by June 24 at 7pm Central, I would receive NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING.

I was in New Orleans for the National Association of Black Journalists Convention. So I had to choose between going to a panel session or staying in my room to raise some money. After panicking for 15 minutes, I decided to jump on Facebook and do a call to action.

I first posted a message in the event that I created for the kickstarter.

$1,500 in three days. 

I'm going to raise $1,500 in three days. Yep. I said it. Three days. 

My biggest doubt in being able to raise the money is just about gone. When I went dark on the internet for about two days, the pledges poured in from friends and acquaintances. My people came through for me. 

I don't have any doubt that I'll raise the money in three days. 

IT WILL GET DONE (I've been doing a lot of praying). 

But I do wonder how I'm going raise $1,500, when the NABJ Conference in New Orleans is competing for my attention. 

So my question to you is the following:

If you had three days and only about two hours each day to dedicate to raising pledges for the campaign, what would you do?

Would you send out another email blast?

Would you run a cool social media campaign?

Would you continue your facebook push?

I want YOUR input!!

When this project hit the $3,000 mark, I *sighed* in relief. Once I sighed, I thought, "Wait a minute! I still have $3,000 more to raise!." It's been amazing to be able to receive this incredible support thus far, but I still need your help. 

I've been blessed to have family members, friends, travelers, bloggers and supporters help out with this project. And now that you've helped me by pledging, I need you to tell everyone about this project.
