About this project
You've seen them shred on stages all over NYC, MA and CT; you've seen them "going off" on the stage of Zappanale in Germany; and you've seen their ridiculous antics live and in their videos. For 8 years, these dudes were fueled by an obsessive compulsive urge to write the weirdest rock music possible, with the only hope of "rocking people's balls clean off". Now they're at it again. Since Kimono Draggin's recent break up, fans have caught wind of a final recording yet to be released. Hot damn, it's true! They won't be stopped even 6 feet under the dirt. 10 brand spanking new songs, entitled 'KIMONO GOLD' (limited to 200 units on gold vinyl). Since they've disbanded, Kimono's funds have been somewhat limited. We know you want it…and we want to give it (cough*cough), so dig down deep into your hearts (pockets) and give these boys a little help. Your money will be directly used for costs associated with the production/release of Kimono Draggin's final recordings (mixing, mastering, pressing, printing). The final product will be a 10-song, gold colored, 12" vinyl record.

No. Your money is not withdrawn from your account until if/when the final goal is reached on October 9th @ 7:45pm.

Kimono Draggin' formed back in 2003 out of the ashes of several diverse CT groups. The power-trio's quirky, avant-garde sound delivers to the ear, a sense of hugeness and urgency. Bringing their jangly rock show throughout New England, France, Germany and the United Kingdom, it was clear that audiences were interested in Kimono's unique sound. They've locally supported several national acts including The Mr. T Experience, Richard Lloyd (Television) and Philo Cramer (FEAR). In late 2007, the band toured Europe making notable stops at Alan Raw’s BBC Radio show and Zappanale 18 where they shared the stage with several Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention alumni. Kimono Draggin' has 3 full-length albums under their belt and a fourth to be released in 2011.
