Performing at The Kennedy Center (DC), Wang Theater (Boston) and Avery Fisher Hall (Lincoln Center), but we need help getting there!!
KHORIKOS, NYC based a cappella ensemble, was just invited to perform as a part of the "Songs of Life" Festival honoring the rescue of 49,000 Jews in Bulgaria during the holocaust. We will be featured in the first half with our own rep and will also perform the world premiere of "Whosoever Saves" by Charles Osbourne. Then we will lead the 300 person choir in the performance of the world premiere of "A Melancholy Beauty."
Three wonderful performances in three amazing venues: The Kennedy Center (DC), Wang Theater (Boston) and Avery Fisher at Lincoln Center (NY). In this performance KHORIKOS will be collaborating with: The National Philharmonic, The Boston Modern Orchestra Project, The Indianapolis Childrens Choir, Philip Kutev National Folklore Ensemble, Bulgaria, The Victor Valley College Singers and The Master Arts Chorale, CA.
But we need your help getting there! This is not a paid gig for us and we are volunteering our time to be a part of this amazing production, but we have to raise funds for the tour! First and foremost, KHORIKOS singers need tuxedos! We need to raise at least $2,000 to cover a basic rental for one week. Please help us raise the funds and we will give you cool CD's, downloads, videos and concert tickets!
