I am Kevin Martin.
I love writing songs. I love singing. I love playing shows. I love acting like a fool in large crowds. I love talking to strangers. I'm writing this right now, to ask for your support so I can continue doing these things that I love.
I'm currently working on a new album that I'm calling "Future Friends." This is honestly my best music yet. I work with a producer named Lauren Scheff, who is like an alchemist. He takes my crazy ideas and bottles them up into fizzy little treats that you can drink. Well, you can't drink my music yet, but we're working on that.

Releasing a record is a huge process that requires a lot of things:
a publicist, radio promoters, an Internet marketing team, patience,
ingenuity, creative ideas, merchandise, tour support, an excellent
product, pressing thousands of copies, and, most importantly, a budget
to make it all happen.
Major record labels spend MILLIONS of dollars releasing a record.
The amount I need is far less than that.
I’m asking you for $5,000
The truth is, to do it right, I could probably use at least $10,000 - but I wanted to set a realistic goal that I think we can reach together. That being said, there’s no ceiling on how much we’re allowed to raise.

Where the Money Will Go: Every cent of the money raised by this Kickstarter campaign will go directly to the assembling promoting of my album.
Starting from studio musicians, mixing, mastering, artwork, layout, publicist and print; from beginning to end, the money would take care of most of making an album.
