On December 15th & 16th, I started recording "Drifting Into The Sublime" with Grammy Award Winner Will Ackerman producing! It was an amazing time and much was accomplished as I recorded 7 tracks... all basic guitar parts in the hopes to add greater instrumentation as the project progresses!
I NEED your help to complete the next phase of the project... recording 6 more songs of basic guitar tracks, as well as adding some bass parts provided by bassist Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, Paul Simon, James Taylor etc.) and percussionist Jeff Haynes (best known for his work with Pat Metheny).
Together we can create great art and music... music that I hope will bring hope, and peace in a restless world!

Yes... I started to record with Will on December 15th and 16th in Vermont of last year! This is just the beginning... I only recorded the basic foundation of the songs, just guitar. Will also added some guitar to a couple of the songs as well! We completed 7 recordings of songs during those todays... I have 6 more to record. Once that is done we will then begin adding additional instrumentation such as violin, bass, piano, percussion, etc. It will be an amazing recording once it is completed!

I’ll never forget when I first heard Will Ackerman’s album “Passage.” It was Fall of 1982 and the moment I placed the needle on the grooves of this record, I was immediately drawn into it’s simplicity and beauty. At that time I had been playing the guitar since 1978 and I started to dream of one day recording an album as beautiful as “Passage.” I am still in pursuit of that dream.
As a musician my focus is acoustic guitar, although I have recorded works that feature electric guitar and I may do so again, but for all intents and purposes... my heart and deepest passion is the wonder and beauty of an acoustic guitar. All it took was one listen of Will’s album “Passage” and my life was changed. Music can have such a profound effect on our lives. It’s the reason why I play!
