Thank you all for your support, your donations, and more than anything your belief in the project. There is no doubt that you love Kentucky. We fell just short of reaching the $3.5 million dollar tipping point. But don't worry we're not giving up on this project, and will not rest easy 'til Kentucky makes it to the Super Bowl.
Through this project and your support of it, we learned that Kentucky has the strongest brand in the world, and is made up of a bunch of people, places and products that kick ass. It's been amazing and inspiring to learn about so many great people doing what they do to promote Kentucky.
We're going to be rolling out a website featuring all sorts of fun Kentucky content for you. It will be the greatest website of all time.
Our next shirt and poster will be George Clooney is a beautiful man. Who wants one?

Thank you all for your support thus far. Let's finish strong. To date we've raised over $100,000. Bam! That will get Kentucky a 1 second spot in a Super Bowl Commercial. Bam Bam! It will be the most amazing second the world has ever experienced. Plenty of magic can happen in a second. Like the second that Daniel Boone looked up and saw the Land of Tomorrow when he crossed the Cumberland Gap. Like the second Colonel Harland Sanders dropped his chicken in a hot oiled cast iron pan in Corbin Kentucky. Like the second of conception between Nick and Nina Clooney that produced Gorgeous George.

Good Morning Kick Ass Kentuckians,
A big Kentucky high five to all of you who have supported this project. We're just shy 63,000-- we're on our way. Thank you all.
We had an idea. Ever hear of a Facebook flash mob? Neither have we but we're organizing the first facebook flash mob ever to spread the good word about Kentucky going to the Super bowl. The word needs to be spread to every kick ass corner of Kentucky and the world. Here's how it works - today Thursday Sept 22 between 11-11:30am EDT we encourage all of our 2,864 kick ass Facebook friends to post a link to the Kickstarter project on your Facebook wall. Everyone post at the same time. It will be epic. Join us this Thursday. If you can't make it happen between 11-11:30, that's ok, just show up fashionable late. We'll be partying all night.

Hello Defenders of the Commonwealth,
We launched Kentucky for Kentucky one week ago today. We're blown away with the amount of support and Kentucky love we've received from you and your friends. THANK YOU! This story and project is being pass around like grandma's cornbread topped with Somerset sorghum heated in the summer sun. Everybody from Colonel Sanders to Rex Chapman is on board and together we're taking it to the next level.
The fun is just getting started.
What we need next is for everyone who has supported us so far to ask 10 friends to contribute. It's a numbers game and we need volume. We can do it. We should aim for 3000 backers by next week, 30,000 the next, 300,000 after that, and then 3,000,000. You get the point. We need to show what it means to be a Commonwealth.
By the numbers:
To date 361 people have shown their Kentucky pride by giving some jingle, raising $46,451 or 1.3% of the total. We're on our way to the promise land! Kentucky for Kentucky's facebook has grown from 1262 new kick ass Kentuckians to 2445, and there have been over 3100 people that like the project on Kickstarter. That's awesome!
