Hello Kickstarter! For those of you unfamiliar with 'Declan's Well,' it's an electronic-pop project that I (Keenan) have been writing/recording/performing under since ~2005. I have put out a handful of records throughout the years - all of which I've been very proud of - but unfortunately none of them being up to par with how I'd really desire them to be...

WIthout the assistance (or wealth) of a record label, making a “professional” record is virtually impossible. With YOUR help, however, I can turn the next Declan's Well record into reality. I'm launching this Kickstarter campaign in hopes of making my next record BIGGER and BETTER than ever! There is an enormous amount of work that goes into creating and funding a record (i.e. professional mixing / mastering of the completed audio, artwork, merchandise, etc). Aside from said expenses, I'm very excited to potentially release this album as a VINYL RECORD as well. This is something I have always wanted to do, but unfortunately have not been able to accomplish thus far on my own.

Your donations will help to fund every aspect of this process.

In exchange for your help, I’ve created a handful of AWESOME incentives / packages for you to choose from – ranging from stickers, to T-shirts, vinyl copies of the record, custom recordings, and much much more! I’m incredibly excited to finally have the chance to put together a legitimate record, and I’m going to need a LOT of help from you in order to do so.

The album itself is still in the writing process at the moment, with about 1/3 of it recorded so far. The demos of these tracks can be heard via DECLANSWELL.BANDCAMP.COM (so those of you who unfamiliar with my sound can get a better idea). If successful, the plan is to finish recording the record by August, leaving the remainder of the summer to have all of the trimmings applied (therefore shooting for a September 2012 release).
