About this project
As part of Big Bang 2010: Making Gaming Matter, the inaugural event for the International Video Game Hall of Fame, EOGamer.com is hosting a Cosplay Competition as well as Cosplay Panels and Workshops as part of the event. EOGamer would like to make the event worthwhile for cosplayers who are competing, by providing nice prizes, nice backdrops for photoshoots as well as having famous Cosplayers attend the event to be on hand for panels and discussions.
Planning is already in place for the event to take place, but we don't have the money needed to afford prizes and pay for some of the bigger name Cosplayers who are interested in attending to attend. And as we want the event to be a recurring part of Big Bang in future years, we need help to make it happen.
All money gathered from this endeavor will go to the Big Bang 2010 Cosplay Competition and will be used to purchase prizes and pay for expenses for Cosplayers, including the young lady who can be found at this site http://www.himearts.com. She has agreed to run panels and be a guest judge of her trip and hotel is paid for for the event.
Some of the prizes we would like to be able to award include:
* Gift certificates to costume shops/fabric shops
* Digital video camera
* Ribbons for hall costume contests
