Local designer Katrina Langford’s one-of-a-kind treasures result from a unique design process. She hand picks, washes and hang dries under the tropical sun vintage silk, polyester, and cotton scarves. The colors, patterns, and sizes of the scarves determine how they will be reused and the layout of the garment. By reusing and upcycling scarves into fashion, we help to reduce the amount of clothing dumped in landfills, save on the massive water, energy, and other resources typically consumed by the clothing manufacturing industry, and contribute to the local economy by using seamstresses from Hawaii.
