Spank Williams—everyone's favorite sparkly old-fangled country-and-western duo starring Kate Chapman and Samantha Fisher—is setting off on our Telegram Tour 2012 on July 10th! In addition to singing our hearts out day after day, we're going to use that roadtrip to create a Gallery of Western Ephemera.
With your support, we'll dedicate a portion of each day to searching out the very best Americana that the West has to offer. As we travel through Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, we'll make a point of sifting through thrift stores, garage sales and gas stations along the way. As we find amazing objects, we'll create images of them which we'll display at a show when we get back, as well as in a gallery on our website.
As a thank you, we'd love to share the glories of the road with you, by sending you a found-object's image on a postcard, or the item itself, or a singing telegram! We'd love to have your support, and hopefully you can come see the Gallery when we settle back into Seattle!
