We are Just People, a band from Portland, Oregon. Since we formed in January of 2008 we have recorded three albums at the Art Institute of Seattle, a well equipped recording studio run by students. Our time in the studio was always rushed to say the least, only having a handful of attempts to record each track and less than 16 hours to finish each album. Although we are proud of what we made during these marathon sessions, at this point in our carreer it is a necessity that we have ample time to focus all of our efforts on creating something truly representative of the four years we have been playing music together.

We plan on recording thirteen tracks; some are road tested fan favorites recreated from past albums and some are brand new songs that we can't wait to introduce to the world. We've been dreaming of getting some solid time in a professional studio since the first show we played in Eugene, Oregon and now with your help, we can finally make it happen.

How We Will Use The Money

$6,000 :: 1 month of studio time in a professional studio

$4,000 ::  2 weeks of mixing and mastering

$2,500 ::  Design, print and press 1,500 CD's

$1,000 :: Promotion
